Top Ten Books I Read in One Sitting.

Samantha’s top ten

I actually reallyyyy like sitting down and reading a book cover to cover. It is hard finding the time to make it happen but it is my favorite way to read books. Most of the time if it is a book I am really into then I can read it all in one sitting, which is the best!

 1. REBEL SPRING FALLING KINGDOMS #2

The Falling Kingdoms series is one of my top favorites, I get so into these books. I read them so fast and in one sitting! I should have read them ages ago.

2. The false prince

The False Prince is a quick read that is sooo good. I can’t BELIEVE I didn’t figure out that twist. I really need to reread it so I can finish the series. If you are looking for a fantasy to get into I can’t recommend it enough!

3. THE BOOK OF IVY

I feel like The Book of Ivy is an underrated book but I loved it to pieces. I am a sucker for behind the fence dystopian storylines and it did not disappoint!

4. THE WINNER’S CURSE

I also feel like The Winner’s Curse is an underrated book/series. It has a pretty unique storyline and I flew through this one.

5. THE KISS OF DECEPTION

This is another series I am seriously addicted to. There are two guys in this one and the author does a fantastic job at not letting us know which is which. It is such a cool twist on fantasy. You’ll have to read it to see what I mean but it is so unique and freaking awesome!

6. THE INVENTION OF HUGO CABRET

This is a HUGE children’s book but there are drawings that make this book go by super quick. I loved the book but I think this is one instance where I think I enjoyed the movie better. But the drawings are beautiful and brings the story alive!

7. THE GIVER

The Giver is one of my favorite Classics and it is super short. It is easy to knock it out in one sitting!

8. UNWIND

Unwind is so disturbing and dark. Seriously. Even so you can’t help but read and read to find out what happens. There is one scene toward the end that I will never forget. It has been a long time since I’ve read it and it STILL has stayed with me. This is another one I flew through. But wow it IS so disturbing.

9. THE HUNGER GAMES

It’s The Hunger Games so of course I read it in one sitting haha!

 10. HYPERBOLE AND A HALF

Hyperbole and a Half is cute, hilarious, and short based on the author’s blog. If you need a funny book to help with catching up your Goodreads goal then this is it!

  2. OMG I LOVE THE WINNER’S CURSE. IT’S ONE OF MY FAVOURITE BOOKS! I was also very addicted to this and it was so easy to get into and love!

  3. I didn’t read The Kiss of Deception quite in one sitting, but I think it was pretty close (maybe 3 or 4). It’s amazing how fast you can fly through long books when they’re good!

    Great list! :)

I love, love, love Unwind! It was on my list this week too :) I absolutely flew through The Hunger Games. The Book of Ivy is on my TBR, hope I enjoy it as much as you did.

Hugo is such a cute fun book! I haven’t heard of any of those but I will check them out on Goodreads. I love books I can fly through. ;)

  6. The Falling Kingdoms books look so good (maybe it’s those covers) and I’m ashamed to admit I’ve never read The Hunger Games. That seems like a bad thing to admit as a book blogger. :)

The Falling Kingdoms is my new addiction! They are the best and I agree about those covers haha!

You ought to read The Hunger Games is dystopian is your thing!

  7. I’m with you on reading in one sitting. I just can’t do it anymore as I have an 8 month old who keeps me on my toes. I’m lucky to read at all. LOL

I really want to read The Kiss of Deception. That cover is so pretty. And I love The Giver. I just watched the movie version and enjoyed it but not as much as the book. I think they did a good job though.

I bet it is hard fitting in reading time with a youngin’ lol.

The Kiss of Deception is so cool with the POVs I bet you’ll love it! I’ve never seen The Giver movie but most often the book is tons better anyways haha.

      1. I sneak my easing in during her naps or at night. But we cosleep so sometimes I can’t read at night if she’s having a bad night. I have been reading a lot more lately than I did during my pregnancy though. I had a hard time concentrating halfway through so I had to listen to audiobooks to get my reading in. 😉

I really need to read Kiss of Deception now.
