OwlCrate Unboxing

It’s that time again. OwlCrate Unboxing! Oh yeah! The theme for March was Sailors, Ships, & Seas. Let’s dive on in! (Get it? Dive… the theme has to do with the seas. I’m here all week people.)

This month’s OwlCrate was true to theme. It was full of treasures that would make Captain Jack turn back around. Included in this month’s box was:

  • A bronze necklace with an anchor charm and a ship’s wheel/compass charm.
  • A notepad featuring a cute little squid… or maybe octopus… he’s a fellow of the multi-leg variety anyhow.
  • A white tea towel with a ship and the phrase, “A ship is always safe at shore, but that is not what it’s built for.” This quote is attributed to Albert Einstein.
  • A roll of purple scale washii tape.
  • A skull and cross-swords temporary tattoo themed to the book.
  • The Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller.

This was a pretty cute box. I have to say, it wasn’t my all time favorite, but that is no fault of OwlCrate. I just don’t really wear much jewelry and I have no idea what to do with washii tape. I may regift those to someone who would enjoy them. Next month’s theme is Head Over Heels.

  1. Looks like a fun theme! And Song of the Current looks good too- I just saw that one on another blog the other day. I need to get a subscription one of these days!
